Against this background the Federal Ministry of Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth has launched the initiative
“Family-conscious working hours” in partnership with the German chamber of commerce and industry.
With this initiative employers are motivated and supported to provide more work time models, which are flexible and family-conscious. S o that people, who care of their family may be at the right time at the right place: at work and at home.
The company program “Success Factor Family” offers information about the topic family-friendliness of companies. imk automotive GmbH is setting a good example! In a “database of good examples” the calculation engineer of imk – Dr. Roland Michel introduces himself. He describes how successful he combines his parental leave with a part-time agreement.
