On 3 and 4 July 2012 the Ergonomics Conference takes place in Stuttgart at the hotel NH Stuttgart Airport under the theme "Human factor in automobile production".

The human in the automobile production has always been caught between rising productivity demands and their own physical and psychological needs. Because of demographic changes and skills shortages, enterprises of all industries are increasingly faced with the challenge of finding new solutions to close the gap between economic efficiency and ergonomics.
